The acquisition builds on an existing partnership between the two companies and brings Livestock Network’s load board, truck board, company rating system, discussion forums, classifieds, trucking tools and business directories under the BulkLoads umbrella. BulkLoads said Livestock Network members will gain access to its broader ecosystem of products, including Smart Freight Funding for freight factoring, Bulk Insurance Group, BulkTMS transportation management software and Bulk Freight Insights market intelligence. Livestock Network, founded in 2000, has evolved from a livestock load board into a broader online community serving livestock carriers and shippers, offering freight matching, equipment listings, company ratings, forums and industry directories.

The proposed facility, which would be an Amazon Now delivery center, would provide a 30 minute delivery service for grocery and other products to residents. This development is the second Amazon Now facility proposed in Indiana. In April, Amazon announced their plans to build a facility in Whitestown to bring more same-day delivery options to Amazon Prime members in Boone County and Indianapolis.

REDMOND, Ore. -- Amazon's new delivery center in Redmond is officially up and running, cutting shipping times for Central Oregon residents and bringing more than 170 jobs to the city. “We've all experienced that over the years where you order something and it takes up to a week or longer to get it, and that will be changing here very soon,” Redmond Economic Development Inc.
